Facing the backdrop of the rapid development of Minigolf, talent cultivation has become a critical factor in promoting the standardization and sustainable growth of the sport. Following the National Minigolf Referee Training Course, the 2025 National Minigolf Coach Training Course, organized by the China Leisure Sports Administration Center (CLSAC) of the General Administration of Sport of China (GASC), hosted by the China Minigolf Sport Promotion Committee (CMPC) and the Jiangsu Provincial Social Sports Management Center, and executed by Suzhou SmartPutt Sports Technology Co., Ltd., successfully concluded from August 31 to September 1 at the Suzhou Wangyuan Valley International Minigolf Course. This coach training course attracted a total of 69 participants from multiple provinces and cities across the country. By holding the referee and coach training courses consecutively, the initiative not only facilitated the simultaneous improvement of referees and coaches but also laid a solid talent foundation for the future popularization and competitive development of Minigolf.

Unlike referee training, which emphasizes standardized officiating, this coach training course focused more on the dissemination and promotion of teaching. The curriculum balanced both theoretical concepts and practical applications, covering teaching methods for different age groups and sharing teaching cases based on school and community settings. During the on-site practical sessions, participants first learned about the distinctions among different Minigolf course layouts and then divided into groups to simulate teaching scenarios on various holes. They explored how to design courses within limited spaces, guide beginners in mastering basic techniques, and strike a balance between fun and standardization. Through an interactive learning environment, participants enhanced their teaching organization and communication skills in practice.

The theoretical assessment primarily evaluated participants' understanding of teaching principles and management regulations, while the practical assessment examined their teaching and technical abilities. Many participants expressed that the training not only helped them master teaching skills but also made them aware of their responsibilities as coaches: they are not merely instructors of techniques but also facilitators guiding the public toward a healthy lifestyle.

As the talent pool of coaches continues to expand, the coach workforce will become a backbone force in promoting Minigolf. They will delve into communities, enter schools and office buildings, and introduce the sport to the public in a more scientific and systematic manner. Within the wave of national fitness, coaches are not only disseminators of skills but also advocates of healthy concepts and active lifestyles. Their professional leadership will drive Minigolf to become a national sport that integrates multiple values, including health, social interaction, and family-parenting experiences.

In the future, the development of Minigolf will enter a new phase that emphasizes both popularization and enhancement. During the 2025 National Day holiday, the National Minigolf Championships will be held in Qingxi Village, Yiyang City, Hunan Province, followed by the National Minigolf Open, which will take place in succession.
